Do you want to buy makeup that is made without harming animals?
If yes, then I got you!
Since my daughter and I have been trying our best to purchase and use brands that care more about animals. I have created a list of tried and true cruelty-free makeup brands that offer amazing quality makeup ranging from drugstore to high-end makeup. Makeup products like foundation, lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, and more.
How to Find out if a company is cruelty-free?
If you are looking to determine whether a company is cruelty-free or not, there are several steps that you can take.
First, you can look directly at the product’s label or packaging for “cruelty-free”, the Leaping Bunny, or PETA symbol. Another way is to research the company’s website by reviewing its policies, About pages, or Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) regarding animal testing. Lastly, you can use resources such as online directories and apps that provide information on cruelty-free companies and their products.
These steps will help inform you about a company’s stance on animal testing, so you can make an educated decision on whether or not to support their products.
Below, I went ahead and listed some companies I use alongside their website testimonies.
Table of Contents
“We do NOT test on animals or endorse such practices. Our products do not contain animal derived ingredients. Beeswax has been replaced by synthetic beeswax and lanolin has been replaced by Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladinpale-2. We currently support HSUS and are partners with PETA in the Caring Consumer Project.”
